An elder man shares the reason of his repentance. He said that he found a man very happy during the famine. I asked him why was he happy during the period of famine. He replied that he was servant of someone who is responsible of that guy’s livelihood. Therefore he was free of all kind of tensions.

Those words hit on my heart that why I am worried when my Lord is the owner of treasures of this mankind. Truly a man becomes relax when he gets closer to Allah. Let’s have a look again on above example where the guy was relaxed only because he was servant of a comparatively worldly rich guy. So imagine the extent of peace when someone develops contact with Allah who is the owner of all universe.

Hypocritical Humility: Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Umar رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ would never prevent the patients of allergic diseases e.g. leucoderma and leprosy etc from his dining sheet, rather he would eat food while sitting with those patients. He would say that real spirit of hosting is to sit with minor people but also should avoid hypocrisy. Some people prefer to sit at the place where shoes are kept to show their humility but in fact they have filled their hearts with arrogance. The only purpose of doing for those people that they want to be known as humble.
