Hazrat Abu Huraira رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہ narrates that once Holy Prophet ﷺ visited the house of Syeda Fatima رضی اللہ تعالیٰ عنہا and offered Salam to his daughter. Meanwhile, one of his grandsons came out. The Holy Prophet ﷺ asked him “ride on the shoulder of your father, you are my blue eye”. Then Holy Prophet ﷺ held his hand and he sat on Holy Prophet’s ﷺ shoulder. Then another grandson came out. . The Holy Prophet ﷺ asked him as well “ride on the shoulder of your father, you are my blue eye”. Then Holy Prophet ﷺ held his hand and he sat on Holy Prophet’s ﷺ shoulder. (Imam Tibrani)

Yahya Ibn Abi Kaseer narrates that when Holy Prophet ﷺ heard the crying of Hazrat Hassan and Hazrat Hussain رضوان اللہ علیہم اجمعین he stood up suddenly and then said “indeed children are test for human as I stood up for them without thinking”. (Imam Ibn Abi Sheebah)
