Yes! Similar to benisons (dua), imprecations (bad-dua) also follow people.
You must have heard phrases like ‘A dua helped me & my matter got solved. Or you must have heard that I escaped narrowly from an accident / trouble. Or that a person has some dervish’s blessing. You have only heard, tried or seen this but my observations have not only analyzed the impact of benisons but also seen a lot of imprecations and losses/destruction due to imprecations. I am sharing with you one such story:

Once a family visited me and shared their problem that they cannot see at night. Their fifth generation is still suffering from the disorder. All children are healthy throughout, but as soon as they reach the age of the beggar, their vision ceases and their eyes dazzle. I asked them that I could not understand their problem. He told me that long time ago; a beggar came to our elders. The elders scolded him. They asked him dint he see that its night-time and the doors are shut. The beggar replied that I can’t see. He then added that if I can’t see, then you will also not see. This incidence was forgotten. After that, whenever a child is born, and reaches the age of that beggar, he loses vision at night… and this was only in their family. I was very surprised. They asked me for its treatment. I advised them to offer astaghfaar, recitation of kalma infinite times. I also added recitation of Surah Al-Ikhlas and durood shareef and to donate it to the soul of that beggar.

Listen to one more story. A family once came to consult me. They said that their paternal grandmother constantly objected a mad-man, belonging to the neighbor’s family. She made fun of him and passed different comments. After sometime, the husband of our grand-mother got mad. He killed his father with a hammer. He started acting in the same manner his mad neighbor did. Then his brother and paternal-uncle became mad and are in the mental asylum for the past twenty years. There he killed many people as well. He is 65 years old but even if ten people try to take hold of him, he cannot be controlled. Then that madness took over her sister. She roams around the streets throughout the day; sometimes she becomes nude; her behavior is very odd and strange at times. Then her other brother became mad; he is at home. Round spots appear on his head. It has been 25 years now. The situation is the same. Insanity has deserted their home; deserted their lives. Now people are scared of interacting with us. We are deprived of happiness. Nobody wants to engage with us; relate to us; life has become disturbed and restless. Everyone stays away from us. We went through a lot of treatments; got checked by doctors; all remedies were unsuccessful; all procedures failed; no medicine was effective. The woman herself added that it constantly knocks at her heart that the mad-man’s mother after being fed up used to say that do not torment my mad-man; what if your whole family goes mad. We laughed and made fun of her. Tell us what should we do now? I told them the same treatment.
