One day after the Zohar prayer imam Abu Hanifa went home. On the upper story, you had the house as soon as you lied on the bed. Someone knocked at the door. Now you can imagine a person who was awake all night and was busy throughout the day what would be her feelings. If someone shows up at this time how irritating, it can be for one. That this person has showed up at such a wrong time, But if you look at the [patience of imam sahib that he went down the stairs as soon as he opened the door he saw a man standing. Imam Sahib asked him what the purpose of your visit is. He said I wanted to ask a question. Imam Sahib said ok what you want to know. He said what I could say I forgot suddenly imam sahib said, Well! That’s alright, when you remember then ask. The he رحمت اللہ علیہ silently went but as he lied on the bed the door was knocked again. He رحمت اللہ علیہ again asked what is the matter? The person said I remembered that problem. He رحمت اللہ علیہ said: ask, the person said so far I remembered but as you رحمت اللہ علیہ reached at middle of the stairs I forgot that problem again. Then he رحمت اللہ علیہ said while tolerating it, its ok! When you remember then ask, by saying this he رحمت اللہ علیہ came up stairs and lied on the bed to take rest. As he رحمت اللہ علیہ lied again the door was knocked, he رحمت اللہ علیہ again came down stairs and the man said sir I have remembered the problem. The Imam رحمت اللہ علیہ asked what is the matter? He asked gently, the man said I want to ask the problem that does the man’s shit taste sweet or bitter? Imam رحمت اللہ علیہ replied with satisfaction that if man’s shit is fresh then it tastes sweet and if it gets dry it tastes bitter. Then the man said that have you tasted it? The Imam رحمت اللہ علیہ said that the knowledge of everything is not achieved by tasting it but the knowledge of some things is known through wisdom that the fly sits on fresh shit not on dry shit, we know from this that there is difference between both. When Imam Abu Hanifa رحمت اللہ علیہ gave this reply then the man said sir I apologize please forgive me I have teased you a lot for testing your patience. But you beat me. Imam رحمت اللہ علیہ said how can I beat you? The man said: I had a discussion with my friend today that I said that Hazrat Sufiyan Sori رحمت اللہ علیہ has a lot of patience, clemency and moderation and he is not angry man.
